The Y Wamberal OSHC
Before School and After School is operated by The Y NSW on the school premises.
The service operates from the school hall, transitioning children to and from their classrooms and play areas upon conclusion/commencement of our services.
Before school care runs from 7 am - 9 am, with breakfast available for those early arrivers. Parents can drop their children off to a warm and welcoming environment and be assured that their children are being supervised by qualified and friendly educators.
After school care commences at 3:30 pm, where children are offered afternoon tea and a variety of interest-based activities. We wrap up the day at 6 pm.
The children's interests are the foundations of our programs. We encourage children to be involved in interesting and exciting play experiences and explore their natural talents and potential. Children enjoy a variety of different experiences ranging from construction, boardgames, craft and cooking to things like team sports, dancing and gardening. We also provide the children with an area for rest and relaxation.
We inspire all children to engage in a healthy lifestyle, with our weekly menu written in accordance with government recommended healthy eating guidelines. We also encourage children to participate in outdoor active play.
The Y Wamberal also offers vacation care throughout the school holidays, running from 7 am - 6 pm Monday - Friday. We offer a variety of programs, workshops and excursion into our local community.
